Whilst most tanneries offer some quality control certification, it is helpful to independently benchmark their products. Dr Leather offers numerous testing options that can assist you. Whilst not an accredited laboratory, our testing is completed to standard procedures as specified by SLTC, ISO, ASTM, etc methodologies.

Furthermore, we provide expert advice on potential modes of failure, and suggest solutions to remedy any issues. Our testing is extremely well priced and we would love to hear from brands, designers and developers, manufacturers and consumers to help with any leather problems.
